On Thursday, April 14th, 2011, Pratt Institute grabbed a 9000 square foot commercial space in Harlem and turned it into two-week art exhibit called The Harlem Harlem Project.

The Harlem Pratt Project’s goal is fairly simple: to showcase the work of new artists from Pratt Institute in Brooklyn to members of the Harlem community and neighboring boroughs and potential buyers for each art work is for sale.

The exhibit features 90 works from 80 students and will remain open until April 28th at 2280 Frederick Boulevard, between 122nd St and 123rd St. The hours are Sunday-Thursday from 11:00am-6:00pm and Friday-Saturday from 11:00am to 9:00pm.

So, if you don’t have anything planned this weekend or need a quick date idea, go view the Pratt Harlem Project exhibit. You won’t be dissappointed.

Here are some of our favorite pieces from the show.
